100 Wardour St Presents: Motown Wednesdays with Wayne Hernandez

WHEN: 01-01-1970

Hump day, Wine Wednesday…whichever you favour, there’s no such thing as a midweek slump at 100 Wardour St.

Our chefs have designed a set menu like no other – this one gets bottomless. Enjoy 2 courses for £22 or 3 courses for £25, and for £10, add bottomless wine for two hours. Do you need any more of an excuse?

Our chefs have curated the best of the best of our menu with dishes such as crispy confit duck, and of course our indulgent signature desserts, from warm chocolate pudding to a lighter pistachio sponge.

This week, Wayne Hernandez performs. Wayne began singing in churches at the age of 9. Added to that, Wayne always had leadership skills that lead him to start his own 10 piece soul band. Performing in various competitions, Wayne won the Best Vocal Award for The Prince Charles Trust. He went on to sign a recording deal with Epic Records where he released 3 singles and an Album called Telepathic written and produced by Barry Blue and Rod Temperton.

Currently, Wayne is now performing his own shows at places like The Jazz Cafe, The 606 Club, Hideaway Club, and The Boisdale. He has for over 12 years and still is, working with Damon Albarn for his solo projects, Gorillaz and Blur. Wayne has  put together a Marvin Gaye cover band which performs around the UK at present.

Wayne Hernandez: 9 – 10.30pm.
