Hailing from SW London Sharlette is a talented singer/songwriter bringing her contemporary soulful pop sounds to the masses. Having recently featured on Balcony TV and Currently recording her EP which is due for release soon, Sharlette can be found performing at various venues in and around London including Roof Gardens, Ronnie Scott’s and further afield having performed at International Rye Jazz Festival and Amsterdam Coffee Festival just last year!
With her influences ranging from Etta James to Paloma Faith she delivers a stunning bluesy powerhouse vocal, coupled with hypnotic soulful rock sounds on the guitar, that also grace you with elements of jazz funk. Having already headlined her own sell out shows (Ice Bar, August 2014 and Freedom, October 2014, Sanctum Hotel, Cinema Room August 2015) among other accomplishments, big things can be expected from this artist who aims to reach out and touch audiences with her heartfelt, self-penned tracks.
