Wednesday Nights will never be the same again! Each and every Wednesday night, 100 Wardour St will bring you possibly the best soul revue of its kind in Europe! With Motown Revue live on stage with vocals from Alex Charles, Matthew Allen, Mark Asare and more, the singers truly do justice to the phenomenon of these powerful music genres. This week, they will be joined by west end star Emma Lindars.
From “Reach Out I’ll Be There”. “Papa Was A Rollin Stone” to “Ain’t No Mountain High Enough”, and of course “Signed Sealed and Delivered”, the diversity of each show takes you on a journey through time, celebrating Stevie Wonder, The Four Tops, The Temptations and The Supremes, as well as many others that defined the “Soul Era.”
Emma trained at Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts. Theatre Credits Include: Doris in the original London cast of Groundhog Day the musical The old Vic, Dora Bailey/Miss Dinsmore in Singing in the Rain at The Chatalet Theatre Paris, Narrator in Joseph at Frinton summer season, Pauline in the original London cast of Made in Dagenham Adelphi Theatre, Playing Mama Bear & Mamma Ogre in The orginal London cast of Shrek The Musical at Theatre Royal Drury Lane, original London cast of Priscilla Queen Of The Desert playing one of the Diva’s at the Palace Theatre.
Emma has performed at countless corporate and private events, high-end parties and some of this country’s biggest and most prestigious theatres ,clubs and caberet venues; David Bedella and friends at the other Palace, Live at the Apollo Victoria 80th birthday celebrations, Wiltons Music Hall, Ronnie Scott’s bar, the Dress Circle benefit at Her Majesties Theatre Haymarket. The Ice Ball for Denise Welsh of Loose Women, Madam Jojo’s, Freedom Bar Soho, Floridita, Soho House, Archer Street, the Make a wish ball at The Dorchester, and many more.
