Jasmine Kara’s career started as a shot in the dark. At the age of 18, she left Sweden and her troubled past behind to become a performing artist. The dream of a recording contract led Jasmine to New York where she started to knock doors at every record label in Manhattan. With little success she started to perform at numerous different soul clubs around the city. Until one night, legendary R’n’B producer Marshall Chess was in the audience, recognized her powerful voice and decided to sign her to his new independent label Tri-Sound (Cosmos Music Group) on the spot.
Jasmine hasn’t looked back – writing over 150 songs for her second album and then touring the world to work with some of the world leading producers to finish them, appearing live on The likes of The Robert Elms, Chris Evans and Terry Wogan Radio Shows, previewing new song ‘Can’t Lie to me’ at The 2013 Swedish Grammies, Performing live at The Swedish Crown Princess Royal Wedding, Toured Europe, Japan…. the list of her achievements go on and on and on + once you hear her sing, you’ll know exactly what all the fuss is about.

Each night two live bands perform across the evening with DJs from 6pm until late.
Thursday nights welcome a perfect mix of Soul, Blues, and Ska bands at 100 Wardour Street with an early Funk DJ set.
