Saturday night is always a big night at 100 Wardour St. This week, we have a special guest performance from Freemasons and Yves Larock.
The New Atlantics will begin the night with their blend of Soul, Pop and R&B hits from the likes of Stevie Wonder to Jess Glynne & Michael Jackson to Justin Timberlake.
Freemasons was the hottest dance act in the world in the early 00s. Their own tracks ‘Rain Down Love’ and ‘Uninvited’ dominated the clubs, and remixes of songs by Beyonce, Whitney Houston and Kelly Rowland were picked as the lead radio edits across Europe.
This success led to gigs all over the world, with the duo headlining Mardi Gras twice, and playing everywhere from Rio to Seoul. In 2010 the boys embarked on a ‘Summer of Pride’ tour, headlining every major Pride festival in the UK and the USA.
Back in 2005 the whole world fell in love with Yves Larock and his infectious summer groove ‘Zookey’. Securing a top ten in the French charts its success was then absolutely eclipsed by his follow up ‘Rise Up’ with a staggering twenty #1 official chart positions worldwide, the track established him as one of the most exciting house producers to emerge.
A prolific producer, albums ‘Rise Up’ and ‘Manego’ cemented his status, as international tour dates in the world’s biggest and best venues allowed fans to witness his electrifying DJ set. Rise Up 2k16 saw Yves reign across the Bestport House Chart and soar up the influential Beatport top 100 in a matter of days as fans flocked to download the single and stream it on Spotify.
