WHEN: 11-12-2017

100 Wardour St Live are proud to present Monday Marquee with Natalie May

Natalie May released her first club hit “Sexy Sexy” produced by Brit Award winners Rudimental. The song received heavy rotation on Kiss 100, BBC 1Xtra and Capital Xtra.

DJ Nikki Beatnik (International DJ and Kelis/Nicola Roberts’ tour DJ) comments; “Natalie May is a gifted singer and writer – she is the real deal. I play her records all over the world.”

Natalie May supported Jessie J on backing vocals on the Alan Carr show for Jessie J’s single “Who’s Laughing Now”.

As well as singing, Natalie May has also been involved with styling artists for shoots and music videos. Natalie May, assisted styling Florence and The Machine for her number 1 single “Sweet Nothing” featuring Calvin Harris.

Natalie May supported UK soul singer Mica Paris in 2014 and received outstanding reviews. Natalie May also opened up for US RnB singing sensation, Teedra Moses during her UK tour in 2015.

Natalie May’s music made a turn when she stumbled across Old Hollywood actress Marlene Dietrich. Marlene Dietrich’s style truly inspired her. She became curious about the Art-Deco movement and the social liberation that happened during this era. Jazz was the music of the moment. Natalie May studied Jazz greats like Nat King Cole, Count Basie and Lena Horne. This led to the creation of her latest Jazz inspired EP “Neo Deco”.

Natalie May is currently writing and recording new material for her upcoming project “The Heroines Journey”.
