100 Wardour St Live are proud to present Monday Marquee with not one, but three artists: Rotem, Albert Man, and Katie Plus Juan.
Rotem is an extraordinarily talented 21-year-old singer/songwriter/guitarist from Tel Aviv. In 2014, After releasing several projects on YouTube including “Waterfalls”, Rotem captured the attention of acclaimed Israeli producer Roby Fayer (Composer of the Assassin’s Creed Trailer soundtrack “Ready to Fight”). So, began a collaborative association between the two artists. Together, they have released “Safety Land”.
Rotem was also one of eight artists chosen out of 300 to participate in a music project produced by a mainstream Israeli radio station. While continuing to perform, compose and write, Rotem collaborated with many musicians and producers of various genres in Israel. She is currently based in the UK, playing live shows and recording.
Praised by BBC Head of Music as a “brilliant singer-songwriter,” Albert Man is an “insightful artist to watch” according to Pledge Music’s managing editor Matt Conner. He has established himself as one of the more interesting songwriters on the London gig circuit with avid support from RockShot Magazine, who compared his songs to that of “Ben Folds in verse, wit and chord changes”. The award-winning, Manchester-born singer-songwriter plays both solo and with a full band, writing melodic pop songs described by Fresh On The Net as “sweet piano-led shenanigans that come over like the lovechild of Billy Joel and Adam Levine”. He has just been nominated for BEST UNSIGNED MALE at the Best Of British 2017 Unsigned Music Awards.
Katie Plus Juan are a popular North London songwriting duo.
Their versatile style of pop, soul, country and a hint of latin keeps you engaged as their voices soar through a catchy repertoire of songs from their debut album ‘Tom’s Garden’. “a big sizzling pot of genres and influences… the sheer talent of it’s two songwriters makes sure this music is very relevant”- Headliner Magazine.
