SKA ROCKSTEADY / BLUES

King Zepha

Good time grooves… Ska rocksteady and jumpin’ blues. Featuring double bass, raucous four-part harmony and hot hot horns.

Since the release of their debut double album Introducing…King Zepha & The Bluebeat Renaissance the group have been busy touring. This year they’ve been in Belgium, Holland and Germany as well as playing at a few UK festivals.

Songs such as I’ll Be Home (When the Drink’s Worn Off) and Lazy Man seem tailor-made for a festival audience that covers a wide breadth of ages. “It’s quite old-fashioned the style of music we play but it is lively and it is danceable and we try and keep it that way.”

100 Wardour Street is officially open.
Featuring a fresh program of live music and DJs.
Each night two live bands perform across the evening with DJs from 6pm until late.
